Anniversary Greetings & Testimonies IV
From The Independent Board for Presbyterian Foreign Missions (IBPFM)

May 18, 2009

Dear Hope brethren,

Greetings to you all in the name and for the sake of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As members of the Board of Directors, gathered for our Semi-Annual Meeting here at the Bible Presbyterian Church of Collinswood, we wish to officially take this occasion to congratulate Hope B-P Church on this your 23rd Anniversary. We rejoice with you that He has found you faithful to represent the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, proclaiming salvation by grace through faith alone in Adelaide and the regions beyond.

This is also an occasion of rejoicing as we witness what may be called a graduation from a missionary church to a self-supporting ministry, looking only to the Lord. As Dr. and Mrs. Ki make their transition from Adelaide to London, we close another chapter in our Independent Board’s seventy-six years of service. Your ministry has been established on the foundation of Jesus Christ, nourished and built up daily by the Word of God, and we believe will continue to bring Him glory as you obediently follow the Him.

In closing, it has been our privilege to serve with you these past twenty-three years, and we trust you would feel confident in continuing to pray for us as we minister together in the fields already white unto harvest. We thank you. May the Lord bless you all.

Your fellow-labourers in the Gospel,

Signed by Rev William R Le Roy, President; Mr Brad K Gsell, Vice President; & other the members of the Independent Board.

Bro Wittawat Atijatuporn’s Testimony

Thank you for this privilege which I have had for this opportunity to give my testimony to everyone before God. Also, it is a great honour for me to be a part of membership of  Hope Bible-Presbyterian Church.
First of all, I am very grateful that I was born in a Christian family especially in a Pastoral family. According to this, over half of my life has been spent in the church environment. My father was a Pastor for nearly 30 years and had served God in different churches. He also has been a good model of serving the Lord in many areas such as with good singing, powerful preaching as well as warm fellowship. As a result, my personal life has been manifested by the experiences which I\'ve learned from my
family.

For instance, going to church every Sunday as well as having a quiet time daily is essential necessary for a Christian. Furthermore, I have been baptized when I was a little baby and have confirmed my faith at my previous church in Thailand. Even though I haven\'t received a significant sign of conversion as the unbeliever who becomes a Christian, I can feel the overwhelming love of God which has been upon me through every step of my life.

In particularly, He brought me here to Adelaide, a peaceful city, even though I\'ve never thought that I would have any chance to spend my life in another place apart from my country, Thailand. In addition, I\'m very thankful that He also brought me to Hope B-P Church which is not only full of sincere love but also contains wonderful fellowship from everyone of you. Moreover, I completely thank God for His provision in my life such as having good health, a job in the midst of the economic recession and especially giving me a beautiful family, my wife, Mariam, with a little lovely boy Jayden. I am so grateful for his fast growth and good development which apart from God, I must give the honour to my wife as she has been a  good and patient mother.

As a member of Hope B-P Church, I am willing to serve Lord in any particular area that I have been blessed and would love to see everyone clearly serve Him in the areas of your gifts as well. Lastly, I would like to end my testimony by the word of God with a message of  serving Him altogether....

"From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love" Ephesians 4:16

May everything be blessed and glorified in the name of our holy Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Our Father in heaven, Amen.

In Him,
Boongs

Sis Yvone  Peng Heng Kam’s Testimony

Dear Pastors, Sisters and Brothers-in-Christ,

I believe our God Almighty has sent His one and only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save us. I\'ve received Jesus Christ, our Lord, as my personal Saviour. He has redeemed me from my sins.

I\'m blessed and privileged to be able to worship in Hope B-P Church. I hope that the Church will accept my seeking of membership. I\'m committed to study the Word of God and be a witness to His Word. I would like to share with you my 2 favourite verses:
Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." John 15:5 "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

Thanks Be to God.

(Editor’s note: Bro Wittawat & Sis Yvone transferred their membership to Hope B-P Church on The Lord’s Day, 28 June 2009)
